Greetings! Yesterday was spent getting together, getting to see the world from seven miles up, and getting to know each other a bit better. The trip was smooth, and we're settled into our hotel. We had a chance to go to the church where we are working last night, and meet many of the congregants. Last night was the conclusion of a lengthy education series, and in celebration of our arrival and the end of classes, the group welcomed us warmly and shared their celebration cake. It was so wonderful to be with them and receive their hospitality. By the time we made it back to the hotel, we were ready to eat a good meal and settle in, which is exactly what we did.
Now that we are set up in the technology dept., there should be regular entries from many members of the group, as well as pictures of our adventures.
