The first task was to clear out the rooms we will be painting and tiling; Charity and Lynsey are clearing a pile of spare doors-
After the rooms were cleared, they needed to be swept in preparation for the new flooring, and Ali, Victoria, and Mother Garcia were up to the job-
Next, some of the group began working on the pews; here Jamal and Lonnie are preparing a kneeler for installation on the back of a pew-
Each pew has to be sanded, and the screwheads covered with putty - Belinda and Darius are hard at work sanding the pews assembled before our arrival-
Ms. Moses has an expert sanding arm!
Royce and Emory work with our local assistants, William and Pele, to build new pews. William and Pele are currently students at the Technical Institute run by El Hogar, the home for children we visited yesterday.
Victoria takes her turn working the drill with Emory and Royce assisting-
Royce, Isaac, William, and Emory inaugurate the very first complete Trinity pew-
